3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 Smells citrusy and a little malty. Lots of citra hops. Tried this right after the beirgotter hopacalypse and I found that onea little better. Still, this is nice and fruity, has good orange pour and great lacing. Taste is bitter. Palate pretty good. On tap at volos.
Great head and lacing I forgot to mention last time I tried tried this. Nicer beer this time as well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
How: Can (473 ml) at home. Thanks to Geoff for this one! Canned August 20th 2015, so 2 weeks old.
>>> Another well-executed IPA from Great Lakes consisting in an heavy hoppy beer supported by a solid but discrete malt backbone.
- Slightly hazy golden-orange with a medium easy to revive off-white head and some lacing.
- There’s a burst of citrus and dank hops at first.
- Once it warms up a bit, there’s also resinous and floral hops that comes through.
- Pretty solid biscuity malt backbone that effectively take the back seat.
- Body is medium. Carbonation is moderate. Mouthfeel is oily. Finish is dry. There’s a lingering resinous aftertaste. Borderline sticky.
- Easy drinking because the malt backbone is appropriate for this kind of heavily hoppy beer.
Flavors: Citrusy hops, dank hops, resinous presence, floral notes, moderate spiciness, biscuity malts, mineral notes, herbal.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at WVRST. Slightly hazy with a well-retaining and lacing head. Citric and pungent aroma. Tastes resiny bitter and citric, with those same pungent notes I really like. It seems to be very fresh. The aroma really opens up as it warms. Lovely.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle. Poured hazy medium amber with an off-white head. Big tart citrus aroma. Full bodied, average carbonation, mouthfeel is dry and acidic. Flavour starts off with some bready malt that is taken over by tonnes of citra hops notes of grapefruit, pine and apricot with a peppery sticky finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium sized long lasting creamy white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, and lightly pale malt in the background. Flavour is citrus, tropical fruits, peach, apricot, passion fruit, grapefruit, lime, med-high bitterness, mild pale malts and a medium dry finish. We’ll done beer and I love a good beer using citra!

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a partly hazy golden orange with a fluffy white head and soapy lace up the glass. Aroma if the signature Citra hop, tropical fruits, guava, mango and passionfruit with a delicate malt balance. Taste is mango, tropical fruits, guava and again with a delicate malt balance and bitterness. The bitterness on the finish borders astringent but never is. Alot of people use Citra but few use it this well! The best beer made by GLB!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an almost clean golden-amber colour with a big warm cap, great retention and thick creamy lace. Beautiful fresh citrus zest aromas showing some grapefruit, orange and grass. Hints of caramel and cereal malts in the background. This base is slightly stronger in the mouth, blended by the citra hops giving a sharp dry finish, but then leading into a fresh grassy mild aftertaste. Seems like Belgian yeast get things together. This is a great well-balanced IPA with fresh citrusy hops that goes down smoothly. Would definitely have again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I’ve enjoyed about 8 bottles of this stuff in the last few weeks, so I figured I should finally get around to rating it. Pour is hazy dark gold with a creamy white cap that sticks to the glass. Nose is a pure Citra bomb: tons of grapefruit/citrus, tropical fruit and pine, with nice bready malt in the background. If possible this stuff tastes even better than it smells. Nice chewy, bready malt, a perfect balance between sweet and bitter, tons of exotic hop notes, and a lingering bitter finish. Another great Tank Ten product from these guys.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The smell and colour lend to a bitter punch off the top. Disappointingly the body waters out at the end. Decent taste but the finish can't keep up. Still a decent beer. Cut the abv down to 4% and this would be a real winner.
