3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
65 cl bottle.
Pours slightly hazy golden color with a large white head. Lots of sediment on the second pour. Aroma is nice and fruity, a bit floral or perfumey even, pine needles and gooseberry bush. Flavor of citric fruits, sweetish caramel malts, some resinous hops and gooseberries. Refreshing bitter palate, lingering citric aftertaste. Nice.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
served in an IPA glass
A - pours a slightly hazy golden copper with a 2 inch off white (tan) head, great retention, and the glass laces beautifully. the frothy head dissipates into a slightly rocky covering on the beer.
S - strong hoppyness, citrus, mango, grapefruit, strawberry & pineapple esters, tropical fruits, light malty breadiness, biscuity sweetness, maybe even some red cherries. this has got to be one of, if not the best IPA iíve ever smelled. i was smelling the bottle still two hours after iíd finished the beer. WOW!
T - bitter hoppyness off the start with a slight sweetness from the malts that melts perfectly together. citrus, piney and grapefruit definitely present. a light caramel mixed with fresh biscuits becomes more pronounced as the beer warms. tropical fruit and passionfruit tastes all lead to the bitter, hoppy finish that leaves a nice citrusy, piney, fruity taste lingering.
M - smooth, slightly creamy feel, mostly bitter but a nice fruity sweetness makes things interesting. medium body, dry & bitter finish, low alcohol present
O - I love Great Lakes! Iím always blown away by their beers and this one was no different. One of the best IPAís Iíve had and definitely takes a run at Canadaís best. This was my last of six bottles and there doesnít seem to be too many left floating around out there so iíll probably have to wait a while to have it again, but ill be licking my lips the whole time. Bring it back soon! :)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured an orangey color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of piney hops is quite dominant with bitter citrus notes also noticeable. Taste is a nice mix of piney hops with light citrus notes with medium bitterness and light sweet residual sugars notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Wonderful mix of piney and citrus aromas makes this an IPA that should makes it into regular distribution for GLB.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650ml bottle from the LCBO Pours a hazy dark amber with a a big off white head that hangs around and clings to the glass. Great nose with grapefruit, pine, peach and grass. Excellent bitter citrus throughout but a background peach sweetness keeps it under control. Medium slick mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Long bitter finish. Excellent.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy, Grippitis, and Ian; sent to me by Sammy. The bottle leaked a little in transit, so I was kind of worried about this little fella. My fears were unfounded, as the pour was lively with brisk carbonation and excellent head formation. Beautiful perfumey grapefruit and mango hop character, very fresh and zippy. Intensely bitter finish. Light caramel malts allow for supreme expression of hop character. A really terrific IPA-- thanks Sammy!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a golden yellow with a short lived foamy white cap. The aroma is pine needles, sap, wet forest floor, grapefruit. Flavour is along the same lines as the aroma, maybe a slight hint of pineapple sweetness for balance. Itís remarkably smooth, and not very bitter considering the hoppy flavours that come across, well done.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Single bottle from the LCBO (written 7.0% ABV on front painted label). Pours a golden colour with an amber hue and lots of particles floating around. Big creamy warm cap that stays a very long time and gives out thick creamy lace. Nice fresh hoppy nose with the grapefruit, pine and grass aromas. The taste is surprisingly not as hoppy and bitter as I expected. Still, pretty good with some grain, light grass, citrus and mild dry finish. Goes down very well and another great brew for the Tank Ten project.
