Cask at Volo IPA Challenge. Pours a cloudy orange with a long-lasting bubbly white head. Lovely citra hops aroma, a bit catty and resiny as well, along with some citrus fruit. Flavour of citrusy, resiny hops, some citrus fruit and malt in the background -- fruity and hoppy, tasty stuff. Average to medium bodied. Very good stuff.

On tap at Great Lakes Anniversary BBQ. Pours a clear orange colour with a little head that seems to persist. Smells really nice, some malty sweetness and some really nice citrus, maybe orange? Palate is a bit watery but still seems to have medium body. Taste is worse than the smell, goes straight to hoppy and doesn’t go back. Aftertaste is all grapefruit. Decently refreshing but lacking in complexity.

A lightly hazed IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, a pungent floral oily hops with light musky notes, sulfur, nice. In mouth, a smooth grassy malt with catty floral hops, grapefruit pulp, decent. Cask at Ontario Cask IPA Challenge, April 21, 2012.

a reddish tinge to this one. A big IBU, big bitterness, very tasty. Neutral aroma. Backed up by a decent malt backbone.

[4154-20111125] Tap. Citrus grass and peat hops aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head and some spotted lacing. Bitter lightly buttery grassy hops flavour has a long lemon skin aftertaste. Medium body is quite bitter. Great bitter. (8/3/7/4/16) 3.8

Sample at the Strange Brew Tasting on 02/18/2012. The beer is a mostly clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin bone white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, citrus, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
