COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Session Ale - 3.2% "I was once a great entertainer who thrilled throngs of children with dance. Then my puppet master became a CGI whiz. Now I’m an inanimate object - a piece of cloth with asbestos stuffing and lifeless strings. I have no pulse and no soul. I do, however, have a rabid desire for revenge. Beware puppet master - I know where you live..."

On tap at Bite (Ottawa, ON). Beautiful cloudy golden body with a thin white foamy/creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty, herbal, and citrusy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries coriander, flowery, and citrusy notes. Ends with a long bitter/herbal finish. Very enjoyable.

Can from the LCBO. Slightly cloudy light gold with a generous white head that fades slowly and leaves some lace. Nose has big pine and citrus presence that I wasn’t expecting from a session ale. Also includes some floral and toffee notes along with grass. Enough sweet malt to balance a medium juicy bitterness. Mouth is slightly thin as would be expected from a session with medium carbonation and a long dry finish. My favourite so far out of the huge batch of sessions this year.

Pours clear gold some frothy head and lots of lacing. Nose is quiet, some pine. Flavours are peach and pine, cereal. Taste med/light bitter light sweet. Light body lively carbonation and a lasting bitterness to the finish.

lesifflebiere (1476) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2015

sudomorph (911) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 27, 2015
473ml can. Pours a slightly opaque golden yellow with a half finger white head. Aroma has bright notes of citrus, pine, floral, resin, biscuit, bread, and grassy hay. Taste is balanced. Mild grassy citrus, straw, resin, pine, and a nice bready ending. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly resiny texture with a mildly dry finish. Easy drinking for sure. Overall one of the better session IPAs out there. Bright dry-hopped flavours of citrus, pine, resin, bread, grass, and straw.

Alpha10 (426) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 26, 2015
2015/07/26 - Pours a mildly hazy golden straw colour with a foamy white head that quickly reduces. Aroma is pine, citrus (mainly orange rind and grapefruit), grass and a hint of cracker. Taste is heavy resin, crackers and mild citrus. A tad watery. Mouthfeel is thin to medium with moderate carbonation and a drying, mildly bitter finish. This is a touch watery, but all the great GLB smells and flavours are there. A good summertime post yard work beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It wouldn’t be 2015 if a week went by without reviewing a new session IPA, amirite? Golden pour with a fair sized head. Pine resin and orange peel in the aroma. Bitter, resiny taste, lighter citrus notes, lighter crackery malt. Lighter bodied. Good lawnmower beer.

Pours a light gold with a nice head. The aroma has notes of pine, citrus, and tropical fruit. Tasting notes is heavy on the pine, resin, orange peel, and some mango. Nice, and tasty IPA!! Another winner by GLB!
