[3516-20101210] Cask. Light grapefruit aroma has interesting fruit characteristics with a nice fresh cherry side. Hazy, dark brown black body with a quick foamy off-white head. Rich wood flavour is charred with a mild hops background and a long roast malt aftertaste. Smooth full body. Great body, nice to sample.

2010-12-10. Black near headless body, tiny tan head fades. 3+ Aroma is interesting, fruity, bit tangy - cherry? 6+ Flavour is similar, light tangy fruit character, dry notes in the finish. Fruit character does not necessarily scream cherry - it is fairly restrained. 6+ Average plus palate. Okay. Cask as "Chocolate Cherry Porter" at the brewery

project X bomber from lackey. pours deep clear brown with a small tan head. hoppy nose with spice and minty chocolate porter body. the flavour starts with big milky chocolate porter, then some peppermint comes in and leads to a huge hoppy finish. this is great! the best great lakes brew ive had so far!
