On tap at Bar Volo. This saison is a very nice clear gold with a sour tart belgian aroma. The taste is spicy, lightly tart-candyish saison yeast notes with a touch of brett metallic quality.

Cloudy light straw colour. Thin white head leaving decent lacing.Aromas of banana and lemon drops. Tastes are fairly hoppy citrus for a Saison and it has a definite bitter finish.Overall they missed the mark for a Saison but as a near-IPA its a pretty decent beer.

Pint at the Loon. Not much head. Hazy golden-amber. Fruity nose with caramel malts. Same fruity taste with hints of peach and apples. Beautiful hops well blended. Goes down nicely but not sure of the saison style.

Lighter hazy gold pour, huge head. Zesty aroma, a bit of clove, peach and yeast. Yeasty and lemon zest up front, peach, spice, a very slight hint of funk, banana. Lighter body. Easy drinking saison.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with peach, cloves, esters, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity saison with oily mouth, citrus and cloves, curacao, very classic and refreshing. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Pint at the Loon. Cloudy dirty golden with a small white head. Very estery, light citrus, a touch dirty and funky, a touch of spice, reminds me a lot of my own Saison. Medium, creamy, elegant effervescence. Quite fruity and estery, a touch of cardboard, light spice and citrus, a little alcohol; dry and strangely aggressive bitterness and a lightly fruity, sorta peppery and boozy finish.

One of the better local saisons that I’ve tried this summer. Pour is what you’d expect: straw yellow with a cap slimmer than the Canadian GDP this past year. Aroma hints of the balance: none of the jarring schizo you get from Lake of Bays. If your familiar with Great Lakes recent canon, you’ll recognize hints of other series x offerings coming through. A winner.

Enjoyed on tap at Thirsty & Miserable in Toronto, ON. Appearance is a very cloudy and bright gold with a rich white head. Aroma is dry with light spice, clove. Taste is nice and dry, light floral and champagne notes. Nice stuff.
