3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at Barvolo. Pours a murky caramel orange with a thin off-white film of a head that leaves good lacing.
Aroma has notes of bread and caramel, floral hops, and tropical fruits.
Taste is a balanced bitter with solid floral and tropical notes and a mild, herbal aftertaste.
Low-medium body and, like most cask beers, a low carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth.
Overall nice. Lots of fruity notes in both the aroma and taste. Not typical at all. Would get again to mix it up. Cheers!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2013/07/08 - Pours a cloudy, burnt orange colour, with a frothy, off whose head that reduces quickly, but laces nicely. Aroma is toasted malts, biscuit and citrus hops (lemon and grapefruit). Taste is toasted malts as caramel up front with a citrus, hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is medium sticky, with a good amount of carbonation and a finish that is somehow juicy and slightly bitter at the same time. Really enjoying the Tank Ten Series.

Sometimes you don’t know what you got until its gone. Takes this ale: the first sip deceives. You think you got something run of the mill until that after shock of hops kicks in. Another groovy beer. I like what they’re doing with the tank 10 series. Unexpected without being bold. So fucking Canadian.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can - 473ml. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white foamy/creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with fruity and candy hints. Its hoppy taste carries malty and grainy notes. Ends with a short bitter finish. Not bad.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wow, wasnt expecting a whole lot from this one, but was pleasantly surprised. Poured a deep, burnt orange colour with a nice off white cap. Some hopping comes through in the aroma as well as some caramel from malts. The first sip was packed with flavour. A great balance between the hops and malts, with a ’juicy’ quality coming through, possibly from rye. Great beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
on tap @bent Elbow - Pours a dark copper color with some orange highlights. Decent off white cap lasts. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is biscuity, lighty fruity with caramel and grass notes. Mild biscuit malty flavor balanced well with some robust Kent golding hop presense, fruity notes, long wet finish with a decent hop bite. A decent enough session pale ale in the British style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
473 mL (I think - maybe 500) can from the brewery. Somewhere between rusty orange and cola brown, with a lot of minute particles of suspended sediment. In the nose, there is some caramel underneath, but it is mostly Brit hops. Not a lot going on flavour-wise, but there is a nice bitterness in the finish. I’d like to see a little more from the malt, both in flavour and in body.
