4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
473 mL Can. Deep amber body with a thin but tenacious foamy white head leaving ample lace. Aroma of sweet light malts with grassy hops and a floral note. The flavor speaks of a light body; refreshing but without being short on taste. Light sweet malts with just the right amount of hops to make it a great session beer. The light sweet malts and soupçon of toasted malts linger off into a clean finish seeming to invite the beer drinker to take another sip. I’m taking some of this on my next fishing trip.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Chocolatey toast aroma that’s a bit labery and with medium, spicy hops and faint fruit notes. Dark amber topped by lasting, lacy off-white. Sweet, though weak, caramel flavour that ends dry and with some toastiness. Detectable hops. Very clean with medium carbonation and a light body.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a red copper with medium carbonation. Aroma of bread and something I can’t quite identify but reminiscent of "sticky buns" or candy. On the tongue no hop bitterness to speak of, and a sticky mouthfeel. Finish is sweet, sticky, candy like. I don’t see it mentioned on the label, but it almost seems to have some sort of maple to it.
All in all its not an objectionable beer but not one I would want more than one of.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
473ml can. Pours a light ochre-brown body (Lovibond 17/18) with minuscule head. Very lacy. Barely any scent - some caramel and bready presence. The first time you take a swig, it's not the taste that leaves an impression but the watery, smooth palate. The taste is nicely balanced between an initial slightly bitter tone and the sweeter caramel aftertaste. Seems somewhat underwhelming - could have used a more buttery, cookie flavour in the mix. Seems lacking to me. It's an ok beer though.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
I love Great Lake’s ales, but this lager wasn’t that good at all. I’ve bought it a few times because I’ve gotten it mixed up with Crazy Canuck, too... should stop going to the LCBO drunk. Tastes like liquid copper.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cannette 473 ml. 5%. Couleur rousse, mousse beige. Arôme de malt léger. En bouche, malt, caramel, comme les rousses commerciales mais un petit peu plus de goût. Finale sans histoire. Bonne.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampled at Great Lakes Brewery. Clear ruby colour. Sweet and metallic aroma, with a slightly creamy and metallic taste. Not really for me, but I don’t think I’m this beer’s target market.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not bad. Up front hits of sweet with some very minor bitter to balance it out. Inoffensive overall.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can purchased at the LCBO in Dundas Ontario. Pour is a clear brown with a reddish hue. Initial huge white head that recedes to nothing but a small ring, leaves a splatter of lacing. Aroma is grainy, almost corn and a little yeast. Tastes clean, crisp and light. Not tasting much, a little grain and bitterness. Not their best brew, thats for sure.
