As a child, RoboHop was shunned for his laser beam eyeballs, bulbous hop-shaped torso and robotic limbs.
During adolescence however, things changed for our hero. He captained his high school hockey team, routinely took over dance floors, and thusly, garnered a lot of attention from female classmates.
Today, RoboHop battles blandness by making this killer-hoppy and bracingly bitter beer. Suffer.
Seasonal: Part of Tank Ten Series.

I’d forgotten how much of a hop bomb this beer is. Tons of grapefruit and citrus on the nose and tastes more of the same, with a boost of some pine and sweet caramel malts. Refreshingly bitter with the booze nicely masked. Terrific IIPA.

Pours a hazy orangish copper with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet pale malts, light caramel, pine and spruce. Taste is pine, spruce, grapefruit, citrus and a complex caramel malt balance with a crisp and smooth bitterness. Medium high carbonation gives this a nice crisp finish... Love this IIPA!

Pours a hazy copper with a medium sized creamy white head and a few spots of lace. Aroma is resin, tropical fruits, mild citrus, pine, caramel malts and a medium dry finish.

Draft to taster Grapefruit, spruce, soap, and orange. Hazy, light amber with a thin white head. Taste is grapefruit, soap, yeast, spruce, pepper and lots of bitterness. Solid, but not great.

Thanks to Sammy for sharing - Initially, the aroma was predominately resin, but as it warned hints of tropical fruit began to appear. A slighly hazy orangish-amber pour with a non-lasting white head and moderate lacing. The flavors take their lead from the nose, resin, tropical fruit and and strong bitter finsh and after taste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, RobobHop flexes its hop induced mussels saves us from villan, Dr. Blandbier.

Bomber poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle: Poured a deep bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grassy and citrusy floral hops is powerful but also very enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by huge grassy, citrusy floral hops notes with lightly sweet malt backbone. Resinous hoppy notes are also noticeable and overall there is lots of hops oil flavours coming through. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Probably one of the best IIPA brewed in Ontario.

Thanks Jay! A really nice looking beer, with an golden body and a thick creamy white head that laces really well. Aroma is pungent hops, some melon, citrus. Very sweet beer, with hot alcohol. Resinous and sticky and well...alright.

Cheers Joe McPhee. Lovely fresh fruit hop aroma. Clear golden pour with a thin head and lasting lacing on the glass. Grapefruit hop flavour. Sharp citrus bitterness yet keeps a subtle sweetness. Great balanced beer. Really enjoyable.
