COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Designed by NASA scientists, THRUST! is structured to attack you senses. First, it burns into your visual cortex the image of a beer with a deep copper hue topped with a rocky white head. Soon your olfactory bulb should be awoken as the massive dry-hop propels a penetrating aroma of grapefruit, mango, grape, stone fruit and lychee hurling into your forebrain.

Resisting the impulse to keep smelling the beer, you pound back a gulp which illicits a poking and prodding of tropical fruit and resin on your taste buds. Your pallet soon succumbs as THRUST! penetrates and perforates, eventually becoming your new reality.

Pours faintly cloud honey gold. Large soapy head, with good lacing. Really manky smelling hoppy stuff, wild nose, of grass and pot, and yeasty bread.... oils, dirt, moss, tangerine rinds. A lot of that translates over to the palate. Very clean (somehow). Sweet, and balanced, on cereal malts, and sour dough. Mouthfeel is perhaps a little heavy, and some more carbonation would be preferable. Mild burnt grass and antiseptic in the finish. Tight. This was very good.

Bouteille 650 ml. 6.5%. Excellente.

Hazy light gold colour. All sorts of citrus hop aromas. Some mango and pine in the mix too. Tastes are very similar, with the addition of some mildly bitter grapefruit. A bit of light spice too. Easily quaffable. Easily one of my favourite IPAs being made anywhere in the world. I would love to blind taste this against its Tank Ten sister beer Karma Citra.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy orange gold with a small off white head. Nose has tons of citrus with grapefruit dominant along with some peach, mango, passion fruit, a healthy dose of pine and a definite catty undertone. This is all about the big bitter hops but there is sufficient lightly sweet toffee to take the edge off. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Mmmmmmmmm.

Pours a hazy bright orange with a thin but persistent white head. Hoppy nose with lots of passion fruit, mango and citrus aromas. Pure tropical fruit juice! Some piney, coniferous notes too. Same tropical, juicy notes in the mouth accompanied by a long lingering, but mellow piney bitterness. Dry finish that show casts perfectly the hops in this IPA. Medium to high carbonation. Great mouthfeel. Great IPA with lots of tropical fruits! I guess the fruitiness would even be more pronounced if I would have drunk the bottle earlier!

Pours a slight hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy mildly off-white cap that stays a while and creates creamy lace. Very active tornado carbonation. Fresh fruity nose with some grapefruit and light sweetness. Hints of fruity-sugary yeast. Again, lots of fruit notes in the taste with tropical ones and piney hints. This is just a great easy-drinking IPA without the crazy bitterness, but with loads of fruits.
