75 cl bottle. Pours a nice deep brown with a small short lived head. The aroma is all cinnamon, the taste was ginger and cinnamon. The hops were there but could not tell what they were. A tasty beer for the season, but not something i would drink more than one of.

Aroma is pretty unique, Get lots of orange, spices, especially coriander and ginger. Quite interesting but not quite sure what if its what i’m looking for in a beer. Taste is similar with lots of spice, some wood and a bit of malt backbone. It was a nice experimenting, but i’m not sure if I would by it again.

(Rating #2427)

Dark ruby with thin cola like head that keeps a lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with a fruit hint, and a mildly astringent wine aroma as well. Flavour lacks the wine in the aroma. Malt spice flavour. I can’t really pick out the spices too well, honey is present. There is a light citrus acidicness and the body is relaxing. I want another bottle! This is the best beer from this brewery that I have had so far.

750ml Bottle @ Decemberfest 2006; thanks to Ralph: Excellent looking bottle, label-free and nicely corked. Poured orange/brown, very little head. Aroma is initially malty, quite noticeable pine, and some spices. Flavour is peppery, pine needles, spices, malts. The body is quite thin, but all told a great new product from these boys.
