3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2012 2012-05-05. Hazy dark pastel orange with modest white head and lace. 3+ Pleasant aroma of sweet orangey citrus, pithy citrus blends with yeasty Belgian character. 7+ Flavour is similar with a melange of citrus underneath the yeasty overtones. Sweet fruity orange in the middle finishes with pithy lemon and grapefruit yeast. Modest bitterness throughout. Citrus lingers variably in the aftertaste Average plus palate. Very enjoyable and repeatable. On tap at Volo, Toronto

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[4422-20120505] Tap. Sweaty orange peel hops aroma. Hazy, orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Super bitter orange peel and gorilla sweat flavour with a long bitter aftertaste. Medium body is very, very bitter. Great bitter infusion but not liking the animal sweat characteristics; thankfully they mellow over time into something more pleasant. (7/4/7/4/15) 3.7

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Volo. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with small white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast and citric hops. Yeasty fruitiness and pepper and decent grapefruity citric hoppiness in the flavour. Drying, bitter finish. Enjoyable hybrid.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Volo. Very cloudy and murky pour. The aroma is very bright and spicy with lots of tangerine and sweet orange peel. A little bit of light citrus/citra hoppiness and a fairly tropical character. Spicy yeast along with a bit of bubble gum. Moderate bitterness although there is quite a lot of hop flavour. Fairly light on the palate (almost watery) despite all of the hop aroma and flavour. A little bit fruity but the yeasty spice does have a lot of contribution to the final product. Smells better than it tastes, but itís good nonetheless.
