2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Radek Kliber (5912) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), - OCT 4, 2012On tap at Volo
Aroma: phenolic, strong sourness, burnt rubber, root, with tart finish.
Look: pale milky white with medium light cap.
Taste etc.: as in aroma strong phenolic elements. Behind fruity base with thinner body. Milky lactic tartness. Minimal carbonation. Finishing with burnt rubber. Touch of woody raw sourness. Hint of green apple.

[4804-20120920] Tap. Smoky plastic and dried wood-rot aroma. Murky, quite pale yellow body with no lasting head. Cleaner lemon wipes and fruity yeast flavour is a dead-ringer for some cooked vegetable that I can’t place (turnip? Peeeeeas?). Medium body is flat. Unpleasant. (3/2/2-/2/6) 1.5

Overheard: "It’s light carbonated pea-juice. I recommend you don’t try my pea-bomb. Or pea-milk rauchbier."
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 blankboy (5153) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2012
Draught at Volo for Funk Night, Sept.20. Pours a very, very pale green with no head -- it doesn’t look great. Vegetal aroma of peas along with some sourness and light spices. Flavour is vegetal and sour with peas and vinegar. Average bodied. I did not care for this at all.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 7, 2012
2012-09-20. Hazy pale yellow, lemon juice like body. 2+ Bizarre minerally funky berliner weiss like character, phenols? Vaguely smokey? 4+ Flavour of canned peas, light sourness. Average to thin bodied palate. 2+ Interesting, but my least favourite beer of the night. Volo Funk Night, Toronto

Enjoyed on tap at Volo funk Night II. Nothing special aroma. Yellow bodied, very bretty. Not so interesting, but drinkable. Carbonation right there. Average mouthfeel.
