Thanks brent. Pours a copper amber with a thin frothy light yellow head. Looks kind of still. The nose was a little grassy, some spicyness, some citrus, earthy, sweet bready malt, smells a little less than fresh. The flavor is spicy, grassy, kind of dry, sweet bready malty, alcohol shows. The mouthfeel is dry and a little biting. Pretty good pale ale.

On Tap, pours amber/golden with an off white head. Aroma is malty with some citrus notes. Taste is hoppy with citrus and bitter notes. Finishes hoppy, definitely good for fans of IPA’s.

Bottle. Orange-gold pour with an unassuming off-white head. Aroma is predominantly malty with some nice resinous pine notes. Taste is surprisingly hoppy - well, if you’re assuming it’s an APA instead of an IPA...which I did. Very enjoyable mouthfeel from the medium body and carbonation. It’s a good sessioner for the bolder beer fan and perhaps a good gateway beer into the realm of higher degree-o’-difficulty IPAs.

This dark amber ale poured with a decent off-white head. Lots of citrus and pine with a slightly soapy aftertaste.

Poured a hazy light orange. Aroma was piney hops and grass with a hint of citrus. The taste was what I would expect from an IPA. It was very balanced with a crisp bitter finish. This is a good beer which surprised me from Great Lakes. Most of what I have tried from them has been a disappointment. Thanks ewestern for the suggestion.
