This pale ale poured a medium orange colour with a quickly dissipating head. To the nose there was scents oflemon and orange citrus, hopps and bread dough. Tasted like it smelt with the strong hops but they were not overpowering. Citrus became evident in the finish with the palate being a little bitter. Very nice work!

a bottle...Pours a cloudy copper color, very nice thick head of small white bubbles. Sweet pine grapefruit cascade, hoppy aroma. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, great hoppy citrus and caramel flavors, just how i like it,a great session beer, goes down easy, another great one from this brewery.

Had on tap this weekend, very balanced for an IPA which is awesome. Kind of like SN Pale on steroids, darker as well. Not sure how fresh the tap was, becasue the smell was only ok. Every craft brewery needs a good pale, and Great Lakes doesn’t let me down.

from olde towne liq. louisville ky. a clean golden copper color with a peachy white head. crisp malty flavor with some fuity apricot and caramel sweetness. fantastic hop bitterness kicks this off. followed by fine english malt flavor. palate is substantial without getting to sticky. great example of an american pale ale.

Clear light orange colored pour. looks kind of thin, but holds a huge white head. Smell opf the hops are nice, but a bit mild for an IPA, I thought, and there was a slight mustiness about it too. Taste was mildly hopped initially too, but picked up a bit after a few sips. Light sweetness, and light bodied as well. Hops come through for a nice flavor and strength, but this still feels too thin and a bit lacking somehow. Good, but not great, I thought.

12 oz bottle-pours a thin creamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is nice citrus/bitter hops, secondary malt. Taste is nice citrus/bitter medium hops, solid secondary medium malt-some sweet backbone. Well done session (A)PA. OK carbonation. Thanks Eddie Notch for bringing this one back.

Bottle. Small white head that went away quickly. Pleasant aroma. Nice citrus flavor, not very much malt to back the hops. Makes a decent session beer.

Pours a deep copper color with a white head. Aroma is malty caramel, and pungent resinous hops. Flavor is caramel with a bitter piny hop finish.
