Bottle. Pours a orangey gold with a soft head on top. Nose is very hoppy, unexpectantly so for a pale ale. Flavor is very hoppy with citrus and fruit blending together to produce a very nice beer. Although this was more hoppy than I had anticipated, it was delicious and would have it again and maybe even again.

[378-20070630] Tap @ Great Lakes (Cleveland, OH). Nice orangey hops aroma with sweet strawberry hints. Clear, orange amber body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Very hoppy bite has a bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Nicely hoppy.

Very average pale ale. Nothing wrong but nothing to special either. That is comparing it to Three floyds and Bells though. It’s hard to match those fine offerings.

Bottle. A citrusy IPA whose maltiness seems too forward. One-finger frothy off-white head. Medium amber body. The aroma is enjoyable cascade — citrusy orange and grapefruit. Notes of toasted grain and hop flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet and the malt, especially grain, dominates. Lightly bitter through the finish. Medium body and lively carbonation. Watery texture.

Poured a clear, golden color with large, white head. Looked lighter and clearer than most pale ales. Pleasant hoppy aroma. Hoppy bitter taste with a delicious bitter aftertaste.

Yet another winner from the Great Lakes Brewing Co. I am a big fan of ligher ales, and was very hesitant about trying a stronger ale. Much to my surprise I enjoyed this very much. Full flavor and very delicious. A+

(Bottle) Pours a dark golden color with a dense white head. Citrus and pine in the nose. Crisp hoppy taste, with a moderate amount of sweetness from the malt. Otherwise, dry and well balanced. A good beer!

a good beer that can be purchased at any store locally. It has a nice slightly bitter flavor and finishes nicely. Good every day beer.
