This beer is a great pale ale for the price. The hop note is very noticeable. Not tasting the citrus as mentioned.

Golden amber in color, nice white head. Smells nicely friuty, a little caramel malt. Surprisingly hoppy, not a grat balance between hops and malt, a little too wheaty a flavor. Goes down smooth, a nice beer. Winking Lizard Tour 2007

Poured golden amber with a few bubbles, small pine scent with a medium hop bouquet, sweet malt fragrances, some citrus on the nose, nice hop bite with malt on the tongue, some sweetness in the mouth, more hop bitterness then I have experienced with other pale ales.

Pours amber with thick tan head. Malt meets hops flavor. Pretty complex pale ale. Perfect on the palate. (Really fullbodied for a pale ale). Some astringent on the finish followed by nice bitterness. Good beer.

Pours a clear bright amber with a full white head. Spicy hoppy aroma. Rich sweet malt flavor with citrus notes and spices. An assertiveAmerican ale with more character than most. A worthy effort.

Yes, very slightly citrusy with hops and malt evident. Doesn’t bite like a hop-heavy Ale. Great with or without food.

Picked up out in PA at a new favorite bottle shop. Pours out a clear light copper color with a moderate sized white head. Nice aroma of some citrus hops and slight sweet malts. Taste is very well balanced with a nice sweet malt taste that is balanced perfectly with a dry hop finish.

Pours a light amber with a big off white head. Aroma is of citrus hops and pale malt. Taste is citrusy, but with malt coming through as well, very refreshing and clean but with a bitter aftertaste. Kind of thin mouthfeel that makes it really easy to drink. Overall a good pale ale.
