Good aroma and flavor of citrusy hops with a good toasted malt and a mild bitter finish. The palate is light and dry and the carbonation is gentle. A well-balanced and interesting APA. beerpirate (14), Chesapeake, Virginia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2007 Excellent beer. Nice light reddish color with a decent foamy head out of the bottle. A little hoppy with some honey and floral-like taste. A touch bitter as well with a nice aftertaste. A great beer. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Poured an amber color with good head and good lacing. Aroma was floral and citrus hops. Flavor was very well balanced citrus and floral little funk to it as well. Solid beer. Nephilium (547), Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 15, 2007 A good average pale ale. Starts out with pine and citrus, with a small head that quickly fades away leaving a bit of lacing behind. It’s an amber color, with visible carbonation racing through it. There’s not a big blast of hops as some have, but a more subtle bitterness. A good session ale. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2007 A nice golden pour with a fluffy off-white head of foam. A little bit of lace remains throughout the glass. Faint beery/hoppy aroma. The taste is extremely hoppy, then a nice bit of malt, then more hops. I would call the hops piney or resiny. Finishes dry and still very hoppy. Nice soft carbonation fits the beer very well. eaglefan538 (2358), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2007 Poured an amber color with a nice generous head, very good retention, nice lacing. The aroma was hoppy, woodsy, musty, some floral and citrus notes. The flavor was excellent, top notch, somewhat of a caramel almost amber ale type twist, light fruity esters, citrus, but woodsy and musty, even earthy hop character coming through in the end. Mouthfeel was moderate, but full for the style. Nice stuff. Thanks to Bert for this very nice experience. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Beer is clear, medium copper-brown. Head is iniitally smalll, white, frothy. Diminishes mostly and quickly.

The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain, caramel, trace of shortbread; Hoppy with moderate notes of bright lemon zest, resin/pine; Yeasty with a trace of dough.

The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter, lightly and roundly acidic with a long, warm lightly bittersweet finish.

The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
