Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, apricot), with a note of peach. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Didn’t knock me over, but it’s an enjoyable rendition.

12 oz bottle best by 03/07/07 from Trooper11 - thanks! Red tinged amber with a white head. Citrus hop nose, a mild pine aroma is noticeable. Piney citrus flavors, not overly bold, very drinkable.A mildly dry bitterness moves up the sides of the tongue as a mild burn touches the throat. Insanely drinkable, very good!

Very clean, clear yellow amber brew, extremely hoppy for a Pale Ale. One of the Best Pale ales I’ve ever had. Almost an IPA except finishes clean and the bitterness doesn’t haunt you. Very light fruit aroma.

Pour is nice clear golden amber with a dense off white head...smell is light orange and grapefruit with faint notes of resin and pine...taste is mildly sweet throughout, but especially up front...like eating a stale cookie...the hops slowly and lightly bitter the flavor at the back of the mouth and in the finish...I would definately not call this "assertively" hopped.

Nice pour from a 12 oz bottle. orange copper color. Nice hop aroma. Not too heavy. Well balanced hopt to malt flavors. I’ve liked it since the first time I tried it at the microbrewers octoberfest at north pier in chicago many years ago.

This beer pours a deep red color with an abundant fluffy white head of tightly packed bubbles which slowly degrades into nice lacing. Aroma is a sweet hop aroma which is appealing without being citrusy or piney. The aroma is hoppy but not smack-you-in-the-face bitter. Flavor is really very mild, and less than I expected from the aroma. It is very pleasing, but not the "big beer" I might have expected from this brewery. Mouthfeel is very light, but substantial enough to convey the flavor of this beer and a very pleasant experience. This beer seems light enough to make it very drinkable. All in all, I really enjoyed this beer and would recommend it.

A good American pale. The aroma is of citrus hops and the pour a hazy orange with little to no head. The taste was a typical APA. Citrusy and hoppy but not over the top. I like the hops in my beer to beat me up to an inch of my life. In this beer, they give me a few love taps and tell me I’m handsome. Both are good...it depends on your mood what you prefer.

12 oz bottle courtesy of crizay. Slightly hazy yellow beer with white head. Sweet caramel along with citrus hop aroma. Nice flavor with a mix of caramel malt sweetness and citrus hops. Nice Pale. Feels like a SoCal rendition.
