This is a nice American style pale ale. You can drink several of these. You would be disappointed if you were looking for a super hoppy, "in your face" beer; this isn’t it. But, for an American Pale, it’s right on target. Great Lakes continues to set the standard in the region.

Bottle. Pour is clear and golden with a smallish white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of hop, pine grapefruit. Taste is light and refreshing, malt, citrus, floral. Palate is smooth, light to medium body. Nice beer for a hot summer day! True to the style.

Thanks to RagallachMC for the bottle. Clear amber/orange with medium head. Head was mostly dimishing leaving medium lacing. Aroma was pine and citrus hops. (mostly pine) Big hop taste with a well balanced malt. Very good beer, and a pretty cool name and label as well.

An orange/amber pour with minimal white head. An aroma of applish hops and sweet malt. A flavor of hops that is similiar to when you eat grapefruit after you’ve had sweetened orange juice. No alcohol warm with it. An excellent bitter finish. One of my favorite new pale ales. I wish it were available to see if it would be as good everytime I open one for a few days running. This is a very good beer.

Pretty solid. Aroma of caramel and piney hops. Tastes like it smells. Solid body. Finishes with a bit of a bite.
