My first IPA since I started really paying attention to what I was drinking. I like it. Definitely strong citrus smell and flavor, smooth but definitely bitter finish. Pleasant though.

Draft. Included as part of a sampler at the brewpub in Cleveland. I remembered liking pretty much everything but do not remember specifics. Do remember that they have an excellent brewpub with excellent beer.

12oz bottle. Thick orange-tan color. Fresh orange and sweet sea water aromas. Solid but subdued cascades balance out thick malty base. Sweet, almost a tad syrupy in some ways. Nice orange-citrus flavors going on, not aggressively bitter but solid in it’s hoppiness. Pretty good.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Ambery color with a light white head that did a bit of ring lacing. Aromas of citrus and mildly roasted malt. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is citrus/floral over roasted caramel. Finish is pretty well balanced with a decent amount of bitter. Reasonably dry in the finish.

Hazy orange color with a thin white head. Citrus aroma with a slightly malty taste with a bitter hops finish. Not too bad.

Bottle. Pours an orange/amber color with a small creamy head. Aroma is hops and citrus. Taste is mostly hops with a little malt and citrus fruit. Slightly bitter, this is a decent, if not typical, IPA.
