RyanMM (46), Ferndale, Michigan, USA Feb 28, 2009 My first IPA since I started really paying attention to what I was drinking. I like it. Definitely strong citrus smell and flavor, smooth but definitely bitter finish. Pleasant though. BroSpud (586), , Massachusetts, USA Feb 25, 2009 Draft. Included as part of a sampler at the brewpub in Cleveland. I remembered liking pretty much everything but do not remember specifics. Do remember that they have an excellent brewpub with excellent beer. nuplastikk (1161), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Feb 22, 2009 12oz bottle. Thick orange-tan color. Fresh orange and sweet sea water aromas. Solid but subdued cascades balance out thick malty base. Sweet, almost a tad syrupy in some ways. Nice orange-citrus flavors going on, not aggressively bitter but solid in it’s hoppiness. Pretty good. bhensonb (4188), Woodland, California, USA Feb 21, 2009 Bottle from Archer Liquors. Ambery color with a light white head that did a bit of ring lacing. Aromas of citrus and mildly roasted malt. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is citrus/floral over roasted caramel. Finish is pretty well balanced with a decent amount of bitter. Reasonably dry in the finish. RONCOD (104), Uledi, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 19, 2009 Hazy orange color with a thin white head. Citrus aroma with a slightly malty taste with a bitter hops finish. Not too bad. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Feb 17, 2009 Bright copper color with a small white head. Aroma is of grass, hay, and hops...very earthy. Taste is of hops and grass. mikemal (5), , Alabama, USA does not count Feb 14, 2009 Pours orange in color with white head. Has a hop taste with citrus flavor. It is a smooth ale with a slight bitterness to end. fromred2green (141), , Ohio, USA Feb 13, 2009 Bottle. Pours an orange/amber color with a small creamy head. Aroma is hops and citrus. Taste is mostly hops with a little malt and citrus fruit. Slightly bitter, this is a decent, if not typical, IPA.
