2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A lightly hazy amber ale with a frothy white head. A simple clean pale ale with some hops, not too much but is getting close to a mild IPA. The finish is nice though. A pale ale with a bit more flavor, decent.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Pours a dark amber color with about a three finger head that eventually falls to one finger and lasts a long while. Patchy lacing.
Smell: A really great light hop and malt aroma. Nothing extraordinary or unique, but pleasant.
Taste/Feel: Almost an IPA, but remains an APA. There’s a good bit of hops initially, but the finish is an incredibly tasty bread-like malt flavor that puts this one over the top of most APA’s I’ve had. To me, this is a nearly perfect balance of malts and hops. I even get occasional traces of grapefruit and tea in some sips. Alcohol can also be tasted and smelled, but it’s not overpowering. The feel of this one is great. It’s about medium bodied, and the carbonation is just right.
Hops mostly in the smell and at the beginning of each sip, but then the carbonation tingles your tongue and you get the bready flavors at the end. A great example of the style -- definitely recommended.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, lightly hazy orange pour with light head and lacing. Aromas of pine, florals, and sweet malts. Flavor was a lot of orange citrus, earthy florals, and caramel. Not bad but it got a little aggressive as it warmed….kind of like really heavy pine or spruce. Medium body. Just ok.

3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Mild hoppy aroma, but a little bit like stale beer. So not super appealing. Great solid, amber color. Mild but to-the-point flavor. One of my favor great lakes, a perfect mild but tasty beer, good for any occasion.
