An assertively hopped American Pale Ale with citrusy and piney Cascade hops. Subtle malt flavors balance the hop profile and provide a satisfying dry finish.

Picked up a refrigerated 6 pack . Bright fruity hop character dominates , grapefruit and citrus notes . Excellent medium body .. Very natural taste .. Hardly any carbonation, love it. As an everyday beer this hits the mark in every way.. Will buy this again.. Well done Great Lakes!

in bottle, so can’t rate appearance or head or lacing, aroma is hard to do as well, but citrus hops on nose, a little bit pine there too. Taste - initial hop bite, a bit piney, then malt sweetness in middle, ending with a medium length happy finish. Very nice - 94. Vintage Cellar should carry this.

On tap. Pours a cool looking amber-golden with a thinner eggshell head that leaves some intricate, etched-looking lacing. Nice bready aroma with some light citrus and spice along with some honey. Pretty sweet with a fair bitterness. Medium bodied, prickly, active, with a quite bitter finish to it. Really nice brew, very drinkable with plenty of character and good flavor.

12oz bottle thanks to Tim! Pours and dark clear orange color 1 finger off white head. Smells mostly caramel malt and a little bit a grapefruit. Taste is refreshing and clean, little hot bitterness and some citrus fruits.

Beautiful copper color with bubbly white head. Aroma is faint hops. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin, but expected. Taste is crisp mild hoppiness with a touch of malt on the follow through. Slight hoppy bitterness that lingers a bit on the aftertaste. Overall a very refreshing Pale.

Tasted from a 12oz brown bottle into a nucleated pint glass, thanks Tom! It poured a clear golden amber colour, fluffy and long-lasting white foam with lace. Nice malt sweetness, slightly bready and biscuity, faint caramel notes, with even slighter fruity ale esters which formed a strong backbone for the Northern Brewer and Cascade hops. Predictably resiny and grapefruity, but very well-balanced. I was told this was a classic hops-forward Cascade American Pale Ale, and that’s exactly right. Good stuff, goes great with pizza.

Pours amber with small head. Smells of grapefruit and other citrus. Tastes of grapefruit, citrus, and floral hops. Bitterness follows. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
