Nice dark color, beige head and fair lace. Nose is malt, with some citrus tones, the start malt, the middle medium, the finish quite ’Hoppy’ and slightly dry. Excellent Pale Ale, thanks Trap.

[378-20070630] Tap @ Great Lakes (Cleveland, OH). Nice orangey hops aroma with sweet strawberry hints. Clear, orange amber body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Very hoppy bite has a bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Nicely hoppy.

Bottle. Light orange, big white head with orange hues. Interesting peppery hops, orange citrus as well in aroma. Nice malt and citrus taste. Light bodied. Again, I found the hops to be spicy, peppery, and packing a bite, which detracted a bit. Otherwise, a very solid APA with tons of lingering orange skin flavours.

Bottle: Aroma is citrusy hoppy. Smells a little sour. Pours a light amber with a nice white head that last just over a minute or so. Very nice citrus taste that intensifies in the finish with some added hops. Could be a little hoppier, but overall nicely balanced. Moderate hop aftertaste.

Pours to a clear copper body with lots of active carbonation. The beer has a thick and dense creamy/rocky/active white head. Beautiful lacing. The aroma is hoppy with pine needles and oranges. Subtle aroma of white bread. The flavor is a hop oil covered orange marmalade and white bread. Sweet brown sugar. The palate is creamy and medium bodied during the first swallow but finishes thin and weak. A decent brew, but the bottle is 2 months out-dated, so it’s possible that the flavor has degraded a little.

Piney hops aroma, good fruitiness. Bitter orange rind and resin. Pleasant aroma. Brilliant orange-amber clear with big off-white foamy lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts musky and fruity, with nice bitterness. Big dry bitterness throughout with mild acidity. Fruity sweet bitter finish, and astringent bitter chalky after.

Bottle courtesy of crizay. Good floral and citrus aroma on the nose. Copper body with off white head. Good amount of citrus hop flavor to this beer. Cool and crisp on the palate. Thanks Chris.

Smell has a nice little floral hop to it. The look is a little thin and on the carbonated side as well. The taste is quite nice. Reminiscent of Sierra Nevada, a good bite at the start and end. Pretty nice.
