Pours a bright, clear orange-amber color; off-white head with gorgeous, tight fine-bubbled lacing. Juicy, earthy and citrus hop aroma; pleasant, slight dry malt core. Medium mouthfeel: zesty, spicy and citrus hop-forwardness: somewhat resiny, juicy and soft; very pleasant palate; slight bit of candy sugar and bready malts coming through; very tasty, drinkable stuff. Definitely tasted more like a Pale Ale to me than an IPA. Finishes dry: biscuity hop bitterness, breadiness, and crackers. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2005 Pours amber with a medium white inch tall head. Aroma is pine and citrus. Flavor is the same but backed up decently with malts. The palate is very creamy for an American Pale Ale with a nice bitter finish from those hops. Pretty tasty and refreshing on a nice warm 90 degree day. Overall a good pale ale! I’ll drink it again! KAggie97 (2485), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

A very welcoming hopped aroma with hints of grapefruit. Flavor is a nice soft caramel malt. All followed by a sharp bitterness. A bit too sharp for me to really enjoy this beer. I got it down, just a bit too off balance for my palate that particular day. 25 oct 09 dkachur (2445), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
