A slightly cloudy orange hue, rocky head with some lacing. thin-bodied. Aroma has hints of clove, grapefruit, and burnt toast. Hoppy on the palate but not overaggressive. Finished clean with little aftertaste, a quality APA which are so hard to find.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Bob McFarland’s Liquors in McFarland, WI. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a thick and lumpy off-white head that has some good retention and sticky lacing. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, some caramel, toffee with plenty of citrus and pine hop character. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a powdery caramel malt flavor with additional flavors of grapefruit zest, iced tea and some soft pine. Finish is semi-sweet, a slight grapefruit and pine aftertaste with a light powdered malt finish. Actually, it’s quite refreshing for a mild IPA.

Bottle, BB 12/24/07. Poured bright, clear orangey-golden with a tall, creamy cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet and juicy grapefruit and caramel, surrounded by lighter fruits including a hint of orange.. soft overall and very pleasant. The flavor had sweet, drawn caramel and grapefruit at the core with building (but never high) pine and citrusy bitterness around the edges.. the spicy, bitter finish was very enjoyable. Medium-bodied and well-balanced on the palate.. an overall solid performer.

Pours a hazy amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel malt with earthy hops and notes of pine burried underneath. Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, and pine with a mild bitter finish. Hops tend to be smaller than I had anticipated. Light bodied. Disappointed based on description.

citrusy, afine beer for having a six-pack among friends. My friends liked this better than an average Belgian brew. I have never had a bad brew from this brewery.

Bottle (12oz). Clear amber with an average off-white head. Aroma was an appealing balance of mild roast malt and plentiful fresh juicy hops, drily floral, almost sweet. Taste is very much grapefruit hops, light roast malt backing, this would actually be sweet if the aggressive hops weren’t steering - a long, enjoyably bitter finish. Mouthfeel is bitter, dry and quite sharp - my tongue really tingled as I drank it. This is a solid PA - I’ll get it again, if I can find it.

Bottle 355ml, Appearance: finely hazed amber looking ale with medium light beige head. 3- Aroma: rich, complex blend of citric, fruity hops, hint of lime, mango. 8- Flavour/Palate: medium bodied. Base black tea like bitterness, body fairly smooth even bit oily. Plenty of hops but none of acidic hop harshness, this ale is clean work. Malts well, quietly blended with rest. Impressive balancing work in such style. All this made this ale very drinkable and approachable. Fairly mild but long lasting bitter ending. Subtle yet noticeable differences put this brew apart from rest. Quality is in details. Great session bitter ale.

Orange gold color, slightly cloudy. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is floral hops, fruit and caramel. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Orange peel and citrus. Hops are grapefruity and floral. Hoppy without being overly bitter. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
