An assertively hopped American Pale Ale with citrusy and piney Cascade hops. Subtle malt flavors balance the hop profile and provide a satisfying dry finish.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. The appearance is a clear golden-orange color with a moderate off-white head which dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. The aroma is fantastic assortment of pine and citrus scents with a hint of malt and caramel. The taste is heavier on the malt than the aroma was. It has good balance between malt and hops, though not has hoppy as I would prefer. Nice smooth feel which is richer than I expected. Overall, this is pretty good, though I’d hardly set it as the benchmark for American pale ales.

12 oz bottle. Amber, orange and a bubbly white head. Smells of caramel and flowers. Brown sugar, smoke, toffee, grass. Medium body, filmy finish. Kind of boring.

A good oak taste with small smoked hops. Ipa is good and nice mouth feel. A little in flavor at the end. Bottle

Lots of oranges and caramel in the nose with hints of tropical fruit. Nicely balanced and fairly bitter finish. Nice stuff.

Pretty malty compared to many of the current hoppy APA’s on the market. Not bad.

Draft at Stocks and Blondes in Chicago. An English feeling pale ale with savory malts underneath a crisp herbal hop profile. Slight toffee character. Dry finish.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Pours a clear orange with medium eggshell colored head. Citrus, caramel malts on the nose. Starts out fairly sweet on the palate with a nice bitter finish. Well-balanced but not very interesting...still solid.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours copper with a off white head. Taste caramel, malt , citrus. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty much what it advertises. Citrus start with some malt undertones followed by a long dry piney slightly bitter finish. Wasn’t bad, just not special.

I guess my rating might be biased because I am from Pittsburgh but this beer is just ok. Nothing special to write home about. After taste is ok. Overall taste is fine. GL has some better products like Chill Wave but it's not available year round.

Pour is bright copper with a white, one finger head. Aroma is citrus and floral. Taste is a little bitter and hoppy, with some malt and floral hints toward the finish. Body is medium overall. Overall it’s a great example of the APA style.
