Flavor is the same but backed up decently with malts. The palate is very creamy for an American Pale Ale with a nice bitter finish from those hops. Pretty tasty and refreshing on a nice warm 90 degree day. Overall a good pale ale! I’ll drink it again! GeneralGao (3081), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2008 12oz bottle. Pleasant aroma of light citrusy hops and just enough caramel. Poured a clear light orange color. The head was clingy, white, and reduced over a minute or so to a thin film. Some lace was left behind on the glass at the end. Moderately bitter with a hint of sweetness up front that grew toward the end. Light to medium bodied with ample carbonation. Nice citrus and caramel flavors that followed the nose. Pretty tasty and better than I had expected. locarboy (115), USA
