Aroma has strong citrus and piney hops - quite appetizing. Beer is medium bodied with med / light carbonation. Very smooth mouthfell. Taste has some malt to smooth things out, but there is quite a bit of floral hoppiness. There is a bit of woodiness to it, but it is mainly floral - the woodiness is mainly on the finish. Overall a very good pale ale. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

Nice IPA aroma that includes more than just sharp hops. Palate is well balanced and smooth. This is how IPA should be done. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Draught at Fitz’s Pub in Elmhurst, IL. Somewhat faintly bitter aroma. Hazy amber body. Slightly off-white head. Excellent sheet lace. Rather hoppy. Very good. Much better than the GL Conway’s Irish Ale I had just before. 7/24/05: Draught at Bodega Brewpub, La Crosse, WI. Roasted malt aroma with some hops. Not a real strong aroma. Initial mouthfeel is that of diacetyl. Malt and mild hops are evident. Nice doughy finish. Not bad. A little thin. Some interesting favors but ultimately falls a little flat. Very little visible carbonation or lace or head. Ar 7, Ap 2, Fl 6, Pal 3, Ov 13. Gunshy (479), Ohio, USA

Formed a nice off white head that left some nice lace. Quite a bubbly beer, with an aroma of hops and some citrus. Nice hoppy flavor that gives it a bit of bite in its finish. slinkymello (137), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
