3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A good average pale ale. Starts out with pine and citrus, with a small head that quickly fades away leaving a bit of lacing behind. It’s an amber color, with visible carbonation racing through it. There’s not a big blast of hops as some have, but a more subtle bitterness. A good session ale.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Starts fruity with a mild malt backbone (yummy); ends with strong grapefruit and light pine. One of my faves.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[on tap at Local 50, PHI airport]
Sweet toffee and stone fruit aroma with pine and faint grapefruit accents. Clear copper under a lacy, white patch. Flavour is a balanced blend of toasty toffee and assertive hops bitterness accentuated by stone fruit and pine. Medium-light body, medium carbonation, fairly crisp.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Color is an attractive copper with an off-white medium sized head.
Aromas are fairly hoppy with pine and citrus aromas.
Taste: the word that really comes to mind for this beer is "balanced". There are plenty of hop flavors but they are nicely balanced with malt flavors. The finish is pleasant with some crisp carbonation and a dry finish.
I am not much of a pale ale fan, but this is a very good one that I really enjoy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(near suggested consumed by date) pours slightly hazy bright golden-orange with a small creamy white head, some retention and lacing. spicy herbal tea leaves, oranges, peaches and apricots - almost candied and lightly sour-ish fruitiness, grass and pepper, citrus, hint of cardboard. moderately low carbonation, light body - oily assertive yet balanced herbal-grassy-citrusy finish. a fresher bottle would enhance objectivity here. a nicely crafted not-over-the-hill apa.
