3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Plenty of cascade hops, although not quite to the same level as the classic SNPA. Crisp and well-balanced. Medium bodied. A bit oily - the beer coats your tongue & allows the hops to linger. A perfect spring/summer session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Pours a clear orange with medium eggshell colored head. Citrus, caramel malts on the nose. Starts out fairly sweet on the palate with a nice bitter finish. Well-balanced but not very interesting...still solid.

Pretty much what it advertises. Citrus start with some malt undertones followed by a long dry piney slightly bitter finish. Wasn’t bad, just not special.

I guess my rating might be biased because I am from Pittsburgh but this beer is just ok. Nothing special to write home about. After taste is ok. Overall taste is fine. GL has some better products like Chill Wave but it's not available year round.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour is bright copper with a white, one finger head. Aroma is citrus and floral. Taste is a little bitter and hoppy, with some malt and floral hints toward the finish. Body is medium overall. Overall it’s a great example of the APA style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Great Lakes: Super clear caramel orange body with a small, gray tinted dollar tracing the top. Floral & citrus aroma with a solid toasted malt background. Grapefruit, toast, candied orange peel, & some faint herbal hops. Slightly sweet caramel in the back to balance the hops. Flavorful, not bad.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Canned vegetables, corn husks, and dandelion bouquet. Clear amber, medium head. Dandelion, honey, and hay, good intensity, but again with significant DMS present. Tinny as well. Hop forward and flavorful, but flawed.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber beer with a bright white head on top. Aroma is rather hoppy, grapefruit and some slight malts. Flavor is moderately bitter, touches of tropical fruits als slight herbal. Mellow carbonation, short aftertaste.

Look: pours a bright orange. White head. Thick lacing very clear.
Smell: very sweet. Caramel. Orange. Honey. Apple juice.
Taste: honey. Slight bitterness. Apple juice.
Feel: thick film on the mouth. Medium carbonation.
Overall: good beer. Not what I expected. Thought there would be more bitterness.
First drank: home 1/1/15
