3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear copper with a small off white head and leaves a bit of lace. Piney nose with a mild floral citrus undertone. Slightly thicker body than expected, mildly syrupy. Flavor is well rounded, with some mild sweet caramel up front and a piney battered finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a light amber with white head. Medium body. This is a toned down version of the chillwave. Light hop bitterness, peach, citrus, malt flavor. Really smooth and enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Foggy amber pour. Thinnish white head with almost no lacing. Nose is pine, caramel, citrus. Medium body. Resinous hop, nice caramel malt, and a little peach pokes through. Finish is slightly sweet. Tasty old school APA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour from bottle, clear amber with fairly robust head that bubbles away with ease. Nose is malt and bright floral hop. Classic Great Lakes taste, showcasing both the malt and hop profiles, not letting one override the other. Very crisp, floral, gentle grapefruit atop a lucious malt presence, yet still a very light and refreshing body. Certainly not a new-era hop bomb, but a tasteful balance and nice drinkability.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not a shockingly original pale ale, but a pretty good one. Pours bright orange with a lot of carbonation and average head. The aroma is citrus and malt. The flavor is citrus and malt, too, with slightly herbal/grassy notes. The finish is a little too sweet, but not enough to ruin it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap from source. Orangey gold with oatmeal head and decent lacing. Smells a little tropical to me, like ripe pine apple plus pine. A little grainy, bit then a nice light bitterness comes in.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle.
Pours with an over sized foamy head that won’t allow me to gently pour the entire 12 oz bottle into into a 18 oz mug. The foamy head lingers on and on, with some settling that leaves it looking like a fitting topping for a vanilla float. The aroma is more earthy, English hop than I prefer but also has an attractive malt aroma that is bolder and darker than expected. The taste follows, with the darker malts coming out in the finish and aftertaste.
O: nice but should revisit with a fresher bottle.

One of the better great lakes I have had. Good and hoppy with a descent aroma. Pretty good.
