5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
A fantastic ale. World Champion in 1994 for good reason. Blows away Sierra Nevada. Too bad its not pastuerized - you have to be in Ohio to get it.

12 oz. Bottle. Appearance is classic pale ale although a bit lighter hue then i expected. Upon my first few sips i noticed this beer lacked a real flavor profile. Although its an easy drinker, i won’t be returning to this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanksgiving day lunchtime warm up, can split at Christine and Daves thanks to DLJ, 28/11/13.
Clear golden with a good sized off white head that retains well.
Nose is toasted malt, orange, citric dipped straw, bread dough, trace of caramel.
Taste comprises toasted malt, soft bread dough, orange pith, lemon sherbet, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish with a subtle hop presence.
So so APA - lacks any great depth of flavour but easy drinking.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Crisp dark orange.
Nose is totally northwest hops. Pine needles and clementines. Mineral water mouthfeel. Crisp malt backbone. The hops come in waves and cling to the palate for a long time

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not particularly impressed with this pour. Was expecting more as the ratings are pretty high here. But this had a taste of old coffee, with a palate that like mud on the tongue.

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 12 oz. Bottle, has a pretty standard smell for a pale ale, but brings a nice bitter taste to the game. Sports a medium-light body.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Malty and full bodied. Bready flavor. Very low on the hop aroma. Bit of an odd bitter finish. Descent but many better pale ales.
