This was the best of the winter ales I chose to try this year. Next year I’ll pass on seasonal ales completely I believe.

Bottled. Pours copper copper color, no head. Aroma is cinnamon, Christmas spices and actually a bit of ginger. Nice but subtle. Flavor is similar, cinnamon, caramel, and just generalized Christmas spices. Nice!

Clear copper pour, small off white head. Lots of baking spices, syrup soaked bread, and some apples. Good mouth feel, good carb. Finish is big on the baking spices again, lots of cinnamon, ginge and cloves. A bit of a spice bomb at the end.

Bottle at home on "The Worst Christmas Ever". Golden amber pour, frothy white head. Pretty looking beer. Holiday spices on the nose and palate. Mostly cinnamon. Dry....not as malty as some of these seasonals....which is nice.

This is a Great Lakes marketing genius. How they convinced an entire city that this is great and a must have at 13 a six is beyond me. There are thousands of beer I would drink before this

Bottle to a pint glass on Christmas Eve day 2015. Copper pour with quickly fading tan head. Sweet caramel maltiness with ginger and cinnamon... Smooth and spicy holiday ale... Nice.

Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI via Plum Market. Deep gold, very slight haze. Biscuit honey aroma. Sweet, thick, syrupy with an alcohol burn. Fortifying. Long finish.

Bottle that I cellared over the last year. Cinnamon and a tad sour Probably better I’d not cellared it!

Poured from bottle into snifter. Pours rich copper with thin white head. Aroma of caramel and cinnamon. Taste has same plus some ginger and mild piney hops.
