3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap@Great Lakes brewpub. Light aroma with pumpkin and cinnamon. Copper color with minimal artificial white head and clear liquid. Medium/strong taste with bit overaged pumpkin, cinnamon and other Christmas flavors. Medium taste spectrum and short slightly spicy after taste. Medium balanced. Medium body with medium/low carbonation. Overall vivid and sturdy though bit simple product.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
As sweet ales go, this is one of the better ones. This ale pours deep copper color, the head fades quickly. The aroma is ginger, spice, winter squash, malt, and a little citrus. The flavor adds honey and a little lemon on the close. I like this quite a lot.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample from a tap. Pours a deep brown in color with a tan ring. Some hints of spice in the aroma. Body is a little thin. Flavor is mostly spices which were a little harsh. Not really what I expected from a Christmas ale nor from Great Lakes. Didn’t really enjoy this one.
