Bottled. Poured gold, with a dense, off-white head. The beer had a clean, floral nose, with grapefruite tones. The flavor was grapefruit, sweet malt, and a bit of floral hops. The finish was a nice amount of hop bitterness without being harsh. The alcohol content really didn’t come through in the finish. A very clean tasting, refreshing IPA.

Pours a nice orange color with a small off white head. Aroma is of a lot of citrusy hops. Flavor is much the same, very bitter with a nice earthy pine flavor as well.

Bottle best before July 13, 2008. Pours a fairly clear dark gold with a small white head. Aroma sports some tasty grapefruit, melon, pine needles, though it is a bit milder than I’d like. I’d say the hops are more assertive in the flavor. This is rather dry and crisp with plenty of resinous quality. A sting of pine hits my palate, then pineapple/melon sweetness with hints of tea. This is a pretty competent IPA. Given the price and the fact that there is at least a date stamp on the bottles, I’d buy this again.

12 oz bottle into pint glass. Pours an honey brown with an orange hue and a big fluffy white head that holds well and leaves great lacing. Nice gentle carbonation. Hop aroma is mostly citrus with some floral notes. Some sweet light malt aroma lies behind hops. Very flavorful hops body without a super intense bite. The flavor is less citrusy and floral and more piney. It is soft and medium bodied on the palate with perfect amount of carbonation. Overall: good and refreshing hop aroma and flavor.

Good IPA that is sharp and spicy on the tongue. Finishes mostly clean, with lingering hints of malt and floral to balance it out. Not one of my favorite styles, but this is a good representation.

Approximately 4 oz. pour, on tap at the brewpub in Ohio City on 6-13-08. Pours a clear, light amber with a small amount of beige head. Light, floral, hoppy aroma. Buttery, very sweet, floral taste. Really tasty, double IPA-like flavors. Medium to full body. Sharpness on the tongue. This is a good beer, better than my score may indicate.

big hop nose which you gotta love. the hops hit you on the pallate and give way from bitter to citric floral goodness. decent bit of malt to soupport such a well hopped ipa. crisp and drinkable, as long as they are kept fairly cold.
