Pours a clear, light amber with a small amount of beige head. Light, floral, hoppy aroma. Buttery, very sweet, floral taste. Really tasty, double IPA-like flavors. Medium to full body. Sharpness on the tongue. This is a good beer, better than my score may indicate. sleepylopes (313), New York, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 9, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with slight orange, pillowy white head with decent lacing. Nose citrus hoppy goodness, grapefruit and sticky sweetness. Wow. Taste is all hops, citrus and pine with a touch of earthy bitterness, and by "touch" I mean "a lot". A good bit of caramel backbone to balance it out. Good does of bitterness. Check the decent lacing - fantastic lacing. Slight alcohol warmth at the end. Good mouth feel and body. This is a good beer. I’m so surprised I haven’t had this yet. Yummy and drinkable. TheElder (49), DeSoto, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Pours "IPA orange" with a tan head that lingers and there is plenty of lacing. Smells hoppy and citric and tastes the same. Orange peels, lemons, and naturally hops galore. Seems to mask the 7.5 % alcohol well. It also seems fittingly carbonated. Lovely. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 30, 2008 An orange appearance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains orange peels, pine, lemons, perfume. The flavor is well balanced with a nice malt presence but also some grapefruit, pine, lemons, and oranges. A bitter finish on this one. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2008 12oz bottle from Walnut Liquorette. Pours orange/yellow with a moderate white head, nice specks of lace. Smells somewhat hoppy, nutty and earthy. Tastes nutty hoppy and slightly bitter followed by lots of malt flavors. I had a pale ale just today that was hoppier than this. Unbalanced? I hope he means malt-wise. Medium body, coats the mouth a bit, sweetness, mellow carbonation. joshwilfong (778), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
