I’ll start out by saying that if I had never drank one of these side-by-side with a FFF Alpha King, I probably would have rated it higher. That being said, I have done a side-by-side and AK rocked the socks off of this brew. On to the rating though... Transparent amber colored pour with a 1-finger fluffy white head. Predominately floral hoppy aroma. Citrusy flavor, light malt backbone. Very well done IPA (it’s just not quite an Alpha King) tramp55555 (44), Lisbon, Ohio, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 21, 2007 Very solid IPA. Just had it for the second time and for some reason it was much better than the first time. Solid hop aromas and flavors throughout, with mainly Simcoe, Fuggles, and maybe a little PNW hops. Different IPA for the main reason that its a blend between English Style and American Style....Solid brew jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Another great brew from a great brewery. Pours a golden color with a minimal head. Smell is slightly hoppy. Taste is bitter hops. A very refreshing beer that is quickly becoming my summer staple to have in the fridge. The alcohol is completely hidden so be careful with these. tupalev (2611), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Huge thanks to Hogtown Harry for sending me home with this bottle after a Friday afternoon of sipping beers on his waterfront balcony. I wasn’t expecting one of the best American session style (7.5%? Ok, not such a long session then) IPA’s. Dark yellow, medium bubbly white head. Pleasant nose - floral, light citrus, even some fragrant soap - nice. Taste - soft light malt up front, impressive aggressive bitterness follows. Right on style here- classic American IPA done to perfection. Long biter finish. Dry, quenching, and refreshing. Great stuff, well done Great Lakes!! hayden1215 (305), Ohio, USA

Very full body with sweet, fruity accents and dry, citrusy hops. Finish is clean and dry. ChazMania (409), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Bottled. Very clear pour, no real head to speak of. Aroma is honey and honeydew melon like. Flavor is a straight up IPA. Basic hop flavor but nothing overt. Decent single.
