Jun 15, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Light amber pour, with nice head that diminishes into a thin off-white film. Smells of pine and citrus. Initial taste fills the mouth with bitterness, sweet malt, a hint of caramel, and then a little heat. Lasting bitter finish. Good beer.

Jun 14, 2007 Clear honey amber body with a nicely retaining vanilla head. Good lacing. Aroma boasts citrusy and grassy hops atop some bready and caramel maltiness. Taste has a prevalent grapefruit like hop bitterness softened by notes of tangerine, caramel, and fresh mown hay. Nicely balanced and highly drinkable.

Jun 13, 2007 tasted like an english IPA made with american hops. definitely a fruitiness, likely from an english ale yeast in the flavor as well as a nice bitterness from the hops and a prominently citrus hop character.

Jun 3, 2007 Sweet hoppyiness on the nose. Pours clear pale yellow-orange in color with a nice white head. Full sweet hoppy IPA with a fine bitter and dry ending. Gentle frothy mouthfeel, slightly syrupy, warm after taste. A solid IPA, just right for starting my summer ale season. The bitter ending stays with you to the bottom of the glass.
