| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Golden with nice white head. Nose of pine and citrus. A very relaxed toned down IPA. Yet 7.5% on the alcohol scale. Not sure I could tell it was even 5%. Caramel malts cover for a nice sweetness throughout. I would say that it is sessionable. Not bad. Aroma is grassy hops with caramel malts coming in easily. Flavor starts with a nice hop bite and bitterness. Flavors of orange and grass hops take the palate at the beginning, finishing off is a nice sweet pear aftertaste which is a mixture of hops and caramel malt. A pretty well-balanced IPA on the palate. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. A decent IPA. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
