Very light, slightly floral, grainy aroma. Light copper orange in color with a fluffy white two finger thick head. Sweet malt and bitter hops get equal play in the fore....both linger. The malts meld with slightly toasted grain notes while the hops become citric and floral on a seperate path. There is a sort of delicate strength to this beer. It’s not bullish, but it has a lot of flavor concentration. Quite nice and a pleasant suprise....I especially like the sweet toasty flavor that lingers in the aftertatse alongside the orange rind bitterness. I wish more IPA’s were like this.

Bottled. Poured a clear, lighter golden with a short cap of white head and some rather nice lacing. Nose picked up primarily floral hoppage with a dry, subtle toffee, light fruit, and caramel backing. The flavor had pine and floral bitterness with a sweet malty base... became sticky right at the finish... alcohol was a tad more prevalent than I would have liked.

Thanks to Sliffy for this one. Pours a light amber with nice lasting head. Decent carbonation and great lacing. Aroma and flavor is of mild hops and a touch of malts. Almost felt creamy to the palate. A little bitter at the finish (in a good way). Very nice IPA. Thanks again Sliffy

Light clear orange color. Only wispy white head. Some lacing. Aroma is light fruity hops. Flavor is the highlight of this beer. Big full fresh hops all wrapped up in a full body. Delicious but lacking in bouquet and lacks the looks. 6/3/8/4/17

RERATE: 12oz bottle fresh. Pours a brights melon orane with a thin head of tight white bubbles. The looks are really lacking with this beer. Aroma is bright fresh hops, fruity and clean. The flavor is a little bit more resiny, but also fruity. Good stuff. 7/2/7/3/17

A 12 ounce bottle from moejuck: It poured hazy golden with a frothy white head. The aroma was grassy & grainy. The flavor was bitter with a very dry finish.

Bottle, from trade with Captain Cougar. Good nose, sweet & sour. Grassy, grainy, yeasty nuttiness, honey. Clean golden orange, good head & lace. Bitter flavors, citrus, grapefruit & lemon rind, grainy, honey, nutty. Medium body, lite oily creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Nice brew, maybe kind of narrowly bitter as it was a rindy bitterness.

12 oz bottle from Leopoldstoch. Another great brew from Great Lakes. Super nice amber color, with a great floral hop smell. Super fresh tasting beer wtih lots of citrus and pine going on. A nice malty backbone too. This one has a kick to it, and @ 7.5% I can understand why. Good beer.
