| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Pours an attractive, clear amber with a frothy head that has a yellowish cast. The hoppy aroma mixes with a little bit of pale crackery malt. The flavor is much less hoppy than expected, but this is still a tasty beer. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Orange body, off-white head, sweet malty nose with some PNW hops and a hint of diacetyl. Lush mouthfeel, very sweet body, medium finishing bitterness. I will rarely say this about an American IPA: this one needs more hops to balance out the malt. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 10, 2006 Poured a clear orange-amber color with a small off white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus and pine with some notes of oranges. Malty start to the flavor with citrus hops that quickly take over. Pines then finishes it off. Long semi-dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very good aroma, with C-hop, and smooth although not fully bodied. Very nice orangey appearance. A touch of fruit. A good food accompaniment, and necessity due to the mouth-puckering bitterness.

Nice medium light mouthfeel. Hops take center stage in the flavor, which are piney and slightly citric. Bitter finish is semi dry, grassy, with some notes of hay. Pretty solid.
