Jul 28, 2009 12 oz from Weiland’s in Columbus, OH. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Nose is caramel, grass, lemon, citrus, grapefruit, and slight floral hops. Flavor is caramel, citrus hop punch, finishing with tart grapefruit. Medium-bodied and enjoyable- sweet front, bitter back.

Jul 21, 2009 A very nice jack of all trades IPA. Some citrus, some malt, some body, good drinkability. Great price too. 8 bucks a six makes it an easy staple when its available.

Jul 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clean golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is straight hops with a slight floral presence. Flavor is bitter hops. Best lacing I’ve ever seen. Excellent beer.

Jul 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with thin white head. Great lacing. Aroma is citrus hops with a tad bit of malts. Notes of grass and grapefruit really stand out as well. On the pallet, it is crisp and refreshing. The finish leaves a nice bitter hoppy flavor lingering, wanting more. I am very impressed with this beer. By far the best I have had from Great Lakes.

Jul 3, 2009 Compliments of the Beer Somimelier to the Stars, Drbayern. WOW! ANother great beer from Great Lakes! Poured a nice off orange yellow, clear and clean. Nice satiny head that stayed the whole beer! Wonderful citrusy aroma. Mouth feel was excellent. Smooth in front, with a hint of grapefruit from the hops. Nice hoppy aftertaste and bite! Makes me want to live back up north!!!

Jul 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange with medium white head. Aroma is somewhat malty with orange/grapefruit. Flavor is a nice balance of caramel malt and fruits. Hops bite hard in the end...a very dry finish. A nice bitterness in the aftertaste that lingers. Tasty but nothing amazing.

Jun 23, 2009 Bottle thanks to moejuck. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt (some wheat maybe?), light tropical fruits, and light hops that become more garlicky as the beer warms. Flavor is more hoppy with grassy and citrus hops. Nice and hoppy, although the dominating hops make the flavor not as complex as some of the top IPAs. Still, a solid IPA.
