jasonp (1423), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Apr 29, 2008 Bottle, best by 6/13/08. Pours an attractive deep, clear golden with a thick white head. Floral, citrusy nose - kind of subdued, with.... a hint of butter, uh-oh. Flavor has a noticeable diacetyl character which detracts from the beer. Also are notes of nice maltiness (munich perhaps?) grapefruit, citrus and ample bitterness. Very nice, full and round body with moderate to lively carbonation. Has elements of a good beer with one unfortunate flaw. I would like to give this one another shot.
GMCC2181 (308), Bear, Delaware, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from stfun, thanks Josh! Golden yellow in color. Good lacing. Perfume fragrence of grapefruit and hops. Taste is the same, strong acid bitterness. I wish it was a little more balanced... Meduim texture, still easy to drink. Not bad or good just an ok IPA. Thanks josh. kassner (115), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 20, 2008 Extremely fragrent sweet IPA with great Bitter finish. They put a lot into this beer. Amber color, modest carbonation, head, and lacing. You can smell the hops. AndrewKScott (246), Lemont, Illinois, USA Jul 18, 2008 I’m very impressed with this IPA. I ordered a pint at the Yardhouse in Glenbrook. Nice color, decent head. Most importantly, a great hop bite with a fruity finish. And, it doesn’t have that weird malt taste that most Great lakes beers have. Good for IPA lovers, and those turned off by GL beers. ReademNwheat (168), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 14, 2008 From a bottle. Light copper color. Aromas of citrus and floral hops. more of the same in the taste. slight bitter finish. good brew. daforrds (185), richmond, Indiana, USA Jul 10, 2008 Ray Mancini was a very good and tough fighter from a small town that would mix it up with the best of them, he had all of the makeup to be the best, just not all of the skill, all fight fans wish he had.
