Jul 22, 2006 Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer poured a caramel color with a large yellow-tan head. The aroma was sour nut and floral hops. The flavor was strong bitter sour nut, piney hops and floral hops with a bitter and sour finish.

Aug 22, 2006 This starts with a large, three dimensional, sticky white head over a brilliantly clear gold body.
The aroma is fruity citrus.
Subdued sweet flavor. The hops never really burst out in this in either the flavor or finish. Needs more malt and hops to go with the top IPAs.

Sep 29, 2008 12oz Bottle. Pours very clean golden hay color with medium white head. Aroma is citrus and hops. Flavor definitely has malty sweetness which is combined with the citrus hops. Nice balance between malt and hops. Finish is a little dry.

Aug 18, 2009 Draft: Clear light golden color with a white head. Fruity nose with somewhat of a floral character and some lemon zest to boot. Grapefruity flavors and pretty nicely bitter, yet balanced. complex citrus character with floral overtones and a citrusy zing in the finish. I dig it. Got a bottle here too that I’ll be opening in the next couple of days to see if i get anything more out of it.

Jan 16, 2007 12 oz. bottle via trade with CaptainCougar - Pours a clear golden color with a one and a half finger thick off white head. Light, fine carbonation. Nice lacing. Has a light bread and herbal hop aroma. Almost like popcorn. Has a slight, sweet grain malt flavor. Not over hopped. Not your typical AIPA. Medium body. No lingering after taste. Not what I was expecting, but still good. Thanks Tom.

Jul 20, 2006 Draft at Dilly Deli: Copper color with a thin white head. Aroma, citrsy, some caramel. Flavor, lots of citrus, with plenty of maltiness to balance. Nice bitterness on the finish, alcohol didn’t come through at all. Pretty solid brew.

Oct 25, 2007 bottle from archer liquors. month past best by date on arrival...
Pale light orange pour with a fluffy white head. Smell is stale like light hop aroma, and oxidation. Tastes oddly sweet, mildly hopped, and of alcohol. Strange flavors, obviously not as fresh as it should be. As is, quite below average.

Dec 3, 2006 An orange/gold pour. A storng presense of hops and malt. A rich almost thich sweet malt and hop flavor with an excellent roasty bitter. Palate is thick as well. A very nice beer. Thanks Jay.
