Pours a light orange with off white head, aromas of pine and grapefruit, there is a sweetness towards the backend. The taste is up front with piney hops and very sweet in the finish, very smooth and very easy on the bitterness. I am pouring this from a growler so there may be a difference from the bottled version but overall this is very tasty!

12 oz bottle from Niagara Falls Wegmans. Pours a clear deep golden colour with modest-sized white head. Aroma is fruity and sweetish with herbal hoppiness and grains. Flavour is apricot and other tropical fruit, a solid herbal and slightly floral bitterness as well as some dusty grains. Dry finish. Average plus body. Nice.

Poured a hazy orange color with almost no head. Aroma has lots of apricots and orange. Taste is creamy with good fruity flavors and citrus hops balance it out. A little on the sweet/syrupy side with a nice finish. Overall very nice!

Draft @ the source with the glass in hand. Great aroma, tropical fruit, mild grapefruit, sweet grainy hints. Flavor has a mild level of bitterness with plenty of fruit with a mild herbal quality. Pretty easy drinking and a nice single IPA.

Pours hazy gold more yellow than orange with a tall foamy white head. Wet lacing. Aroma is caramel malt and citrus and peach. Taste is quite balanced and rich. Active on the palate in terms of carbonation. Slightly sweet citrus upfront - peach and orange with some floral - and solid caramel malts. Grapefruity hop bitterness follows with an astringent finish and a dry, bitter aftertaste. I like this beer. It is sort of a half-imperial.

This beer is well constructed and has a smooth dry aftertaste. It is medium bodied and well made. Fairly middle of the road taste.

Bottle, pours a medium clear orange. Spicy grassy and herbal hops in the scent. Very tasty, spicy herbal hops, grass, tropical fruit and citrus. A solid all around IPA.

On tap at bar in PHL airport. Clear gold with a white head that dissipated quickly but left a dusting across the top. Malt and hop aroma and flavor are balanced, and this could use a little more hop assertiveness. Dry finish. Moderate alcohol warmth present.

it pours a golden color with an orange tint to it. A full bodied head was accompanied with it in an off white. It has a caramel and dry hops that isn’t overly aromatic like others in this class. The taste has floral and citrus tastes with caramel blended in.

Has a hazy orange pour, with a thick white head. A tropical fruit, and spice aroma. There is an orange, grapefruit, caramel, and floral taste. Was a little past the best by date, but wasn’t too bad. Would like to try a fresher batch next time.

disclaimer: apparently the date on the bottle (otherwise unmarked) is a best by, not bottled on. so this beer was well past it’s prime, though freshly bought. high expectations and a bad 1st impression of this one. for the record, english ipas aren’t my first choice. the hop aroma at 43 degrees is nearly non-existent, and the beer poured as close to yellow as orange. athe flavor was better, fruit up front, with some bitterness in the finish. well rounded if not exceptional. the aroma opened up, but took far too long to do so. i can kinda sorta see why some people really like this one, but for me, it was close to average. not enough hop aroma or flavor for an IPA, and a slight disappointment from Great Lakes, of which there are few."
