Tap sample at CBWF 2014. Poured clear reddish brown with an average frothy off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt and soft citrus hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sweet flavor with the same sweet finish of moderate duration.

Taster on tap at Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest (CWBF) 2014. Mildly hazy orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Good lace for a cask ale. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nice balance of tangerine, caramel malt, good earthy hop. Much more bitter and hoppy than what I remember from standard Conway’s, I’m thinking probably because this is an ultra fresh cask. Taste is light to moderate bitter, moderate sweet, some zest. Very nice tangerine treated Irish ale, pretty awesome stuff.
