This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

This is a wonderful tasting and looking beer. It is so smooth and enjoyable. Perfect blend of flavors and bitterness. So far I have to say this is my favorite of the Great Lakes beers.

This is a very very good beer. It's Malty with a twinge of citrus. This is my favorite of the Great lakes brews.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2003 Malty aroma with some citrus in the background. Perfect golden color. Foamy but diminishing white head. Tangy front. Spicy hops give way to a slowly rising malt presence. Clean , dry finish. A crisp bite from the carbonation at lower temperatures mellows as the beer warms. Start to finish one of the finest lagers in the world. A must for both fans of this style and for those who have written off pale lager styles.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2009 Wow. A brilliant sparkling gold color. A sensuous head of lofting beauty. Definite orange/citrus aroma flavor with just bite of bitterness from the hops. Finishes dry, yet leaves your mouth watering for more. One of the best beers brewed in the world.

Medium golden colored with a full head. Good spice and hop profile makes this very authentic tasting. True to style and quite drinkable.

This beer is an excellent combination of the bread-like European malts and spicy noble hops. An excellent session brew that leaves you thirsty for more beer.

I drink so few lagers these days that this beer seemed boring. Let's see, orange-straw colored with little head. The lacing was nice on this one, though. Definte honey in the aroma, with hints of peach and maybe orange. Taste is just too smooth (like I said, lot's of ales) with a slightly sweet medium mouthfeel. A bit of bitterness grabs you just as you swallow, but nothing to speak of. This is a very drinkable beer, and I would try it again. I would definately like to find it on tap.

Not too bad of a beer. Boring orange hue. Nice palate, but nothing too special. aroma is pleasent, but has not lasting mark.

A great beer, even better on tap. This is a fairly unique flavored beer, not many i’ve tried are anything like it. It takes a little getting used to, in fact i really disliked it the first time I tried it, but it grows on you.

Clear, warm golden body, moderately carbonated. Aroma is doughy, lots of crystal malt, honey, and herbal European hops. I find this to be quite similar to certain APAs; caramel malt balanced by a piney bitterness. Very enjoyable.
