COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

About as good as this style gets. Nice golden color. Rich malt for the style, caramel and toffee present, quite flavorful. Moderately hoppy and perfectly smooth. A nice surpise.

Light yellow liquid. Nice head. Good strong flavor. Good carbonation. Nice full flavor with hints of sweetness. A good beer, just not all that special.

This is an outstanding lager. One that puts faith back into the lagers. Great bright clear gold with a nice head. Flavor is sweet and finishes with a little hop to it.

Nice clear color and fresh aroma. Like a thick pilsner taste, with a touch of honey. Very very drinkable.

This was one great beer. As has been said, this is extremely well balanced--a beautiful combination of malt and hops. The palate is smooth and the flavor is great. A wonderful beer that could be consumed quite regularly.

Extremely well balanced and tasty - especially for a lager. Nice malty flavor with a decent balance of hops. A nice fruity sour apple finish. It would be a nice intorductory beer for thos who only drink macros.

Indeed a good beer. A little too bitter for my taste, and it feels also somewhat similiar to Budweiser. Its not golden in its colour as I expected, it is more like amber.

This is a wonderful tasting and looking beer. It is so smooth and enjoyable. Perfect blend of flavors and bitterness. So far I have to say this is my favorite of the Great Lakes beers.

This is a very very good beer. It's Malty with a twinge of citrus. This is my favorite of the Great lakes brews.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2003 Malty aroma with some citrus in the background. Perfect golden color. Foamy but diminishing white head. Tangy front. Spicy hops give way to a slowly rising malt presence. Clean , dry finish. A crisp bite from the carbonation at lower temperatures mellows as the beer warms. Start to finish one of the finest lagers in the world. A must for both fans of this style and for those who have written off pale lager styles.
