12 oz bottle. Poured a dark brown with a thin head. Dissipated fairly quickly. Some lacing. Sweet chocolate, roasted malt aroma. Picking up a slight scent of toffee.Thin texture. Minimal sweetness and just a hint of bitterness on the finish. Fair porter. Enjoyable.

Roasty, toasty chocolate malty deliciousness. Pours a deep black/brown color with a dark brownish tan head. Aroma is a little sweeter (nuts, syrup, caramel/toffee) than the flavor which is more robust toasted malty-ness.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a dark brown with beige head. Good lacing on sides of glass. Nice roasted malt aroma with chocolates and coffee. Very smooth tasting with a nice long lasting and clinging taste palate. Dark chocolate and coffee flavors with some caramel. Very nice porter. One of the best I've had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark with slight head. Full bodied taste of smokey caramel (some chocolate) ending in coffee. Unlike most porters, no bitterness/bite. Hence, strong brew but very drinkable.

I’ve just been drinking a hoppy IPA, I think my palate is ruined and I’ll probably have to re rate this. I’m getting overwhelming floral notes with fresh-squeezed orange juice, a little bit of bitter chocolate underneath. Like I said, probably gonna have to re-rate this. UPDATE: After a cigarette and some water, I got a better idea of this beer. Still some floral notes, but far more subdued. Roasted barley, bitter chocolate now dominate, it tastes more like a porter. Good beer.

Aroma is coffee, toasted Carmel, though medium to weak strength. Nice dark black chocolaty pour , medium white head. Taste is toasted barley, cocoa, aftertaste is vegetable, . Not as good as I remember, but still a quality porter.

Dark black pour. Thin head. Heavy roasted malt aroma. Thick taste. Better than I expected. Drinkable for a porter

Pours inky black with small, quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma is bitter chocolate, roasted malts and slight coffee. Taste is porter to the style. Silky mouthfeel, roasted malts, dark bitter chocolate and just a hint of coffee. Great beer at a great price.
