lumberjack (136), Michigan, USA Jul 25, 2008 Sixer from The Rock...Beautiful brown brew with a nice lasting billowy tan head. Not much lacing. Aroma is sweet malts (caramel?), chocolate, and roast coffee. Nicely carbonated. Nicely balanced flavor, with the sweet chocolate and malts rounded out with some bittering hops and lots of roast flavor. Very smooth and drinkable. ewestern (39), Ohio, USA Jul 25, 2008 One of the better Great Lakes brews, not huge fan of them overall. Aroma comes in nice and subtle of roasted malts with hints of coffee coming through. Nice dark brown color with a tan head. Roasted flavor is smooth, coffee and chocolate going through before its over, finishes bitter. Finish is better than I find most Great Lakes brews to finish, hence me not being a huge fan of them. estover (1), Valencia, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Jul 22, 2008 On tap 4th time at the pub. The first couple times I was there I had to have the berry infused Edie. This last time they just had the plain’ol Edie. I must say, this is one great drink. If you sit in a quiet room with a fresh pour, you can almost here the crunch of cocoa beans as you swish it around the mouth. I keep a case on hand at all times. jbuzz (414), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 21, 2008 Great Lakes Sample Pack from Woodman’s Oak Creek. Smooth and well balanced. Great color and firm head. Coffee and malts are near perfect in combination with slight carbonation. AndrewKScott (249), Lemont, Illinois, USA Jul 18, 2008 Got this on tap at the Yardhouse in Glenbrook, IL. My girlfriend likes this beer, if that tells you anything. Awesome color, chocolately roasty nose and taste, dry finish. Great beer, arguably the best from Great Lakes,
