From a bottle. Excellent brew. Amber color, good malty aroma. quite smooth with a sweet malty taste.

This has a rich, malty aroma and a nice ruby amber color. The flavor is smooth and quite tasty for a lager, with a whopping 6.2% to boot. This is one of the best lager’s I’ve ever tasted.

12oz bottle. great copper/amber color. just right 2-finger head, maybe a touch of fruit in the nose? Sweet, caramel malt flavor with an immediate, but light bitterness that sticks through the finish. A bit of toasted bread? Very good.

355mL. Awesome. Poured a clear amber with an enormous yellow head that has awesome retention and leaves excellent lacing. Spicy rye aroma with some strawberries, All-Bran cereal, cream of wheat, caramel malt, cornbread, brown sugar....very earthy. Taste is excellent: massive hop backbone with rye toast, earthiness, buttered biscuit. A killer session beer! LIke drinking spiked brown sugar cream of wheat.

Bottle. Deep red pour with a head that lasts throughout. Aroma is full of a sweet malt caramel and hops. Flavor is the same with a touch of honey. I was expecting to get over poured with hops on this one, but I enjoyed this a lot.

Bottle. Amber pour. Light tan head. Hops, caramel, honey and bready notes. Flavor is sweet and has some caramel, honey, yeast and hops. Pretty good stuff.

Pours a deep dark red amber with a off white head with a red hue. Aromas of burnt hops and malts like caramel. Flavor is a little bready with undertones of caramel and crisp hops with a sort of earthy overtone like it was aged or barreled. Clean finish. For some reason when I drink this, its like I’m drinking an "old school" kinda beer.

Pours a very attractive deep amber color and clear ... off white head sweet caramel malty aroma and sweet malt caramel taste slight bitter finish medium body this is a good one
