4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lagering at it's finest. She pours smooth and thunderheaded from the tap but calmes to a nice stratus-cloud that lingers 'til the end. Deep chestnest/amber color that's well backed by mellow hops, brown sugar, caramel apple malts and bready yeasts. This brew has a well balanced hoppy-yeasty prescence and is a great alternative to a market full of ales. Eliot Ness, you are one crafty bastard.

Brownish red color, nice tal tan head that seems to be taking it's time to die down. The aroma is malty sweet, hoppy and some what citrusy.Nice flavor medium sweet, pretty hoppy but not in an over powering manner but quite pleasant.the feel is some what thin meaning a slight watery feel. This has a nice sweet malt hop after taste that has some decent lasting power.Really make me wish i had more of these brews. Thanks to Jskendzel for this one.

Foamy head that dissipates quickly, but with nice lacing. Great brown red color. Good flavor with roasted hops, touch of caramel and nice hops in the finish. Much better than expected.

Amber colored body, thin head. Sweet fruity, malty aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel, very rich malt, sugary and toasty. Slightly hoppy finish, somewhat metallic and lingering.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Smell of sweet malt and hops. Slight hint oh citrus. Great dark amber color, with a bit of cream colored head. Flavor is decently malty, and some nice hops flavors. Finish is mostly from the sweet hops.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great crimson colour with an excellent off-white head that lasts and lasts! Sweet smell with hints of fruit! Nice combination of early hops and latter malt create a nice feel in the mouth, and a great aftertaste. Once again, not one of my favourite styles, but this brewery definately has something going for them!!!

Interesting beer. Has a sweet malty taste, with a little hops balance. Overall gives a thin, sweet impression. Not one of my favorites, but a smooth drink nonetheless. So far my favorite Great Lakes varieties are the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and the Dortmunder Gold.
